US Patent No. 8,298,520 B2; Kao Corporation, Tokyo, has patented a deodorant particle having a BET specific surface area of 10m2/g or more that is obtained by copolymerizing monomers comprising a crosslinkable vinyl monomer and a vinyl monomer having a heteroaromatic ring.
